Fake tamers use these to try to pass as tamers in certain circles. Sadly these digivice wannabe are basically a beautiful rendition to the real ones, with light and sound effects, showing some animations on evolutions. Some even have interesting interactions with counter emblems. But they can´t settle any digimon on them, you can´t raise or allow your partner to reside in one of these fakes.
Please try to not get confused and try entering the Digital W0rld with one of those, even if you manage to pass any digital gate... you would need something akin to a digignome miracle to make them work.
