Fake tamers use these to try to pass as tamers in certain circles. Sadly these digivice wannabe are basically a beautiful rendition to the real ones, with light and sound effects, showing some animations on evolutions. Some even have interesting interactions with counter emblems. But they can´t settle any digimon on them, you can´t raise or allow your partner to reside in one of these fakes.
Please don´t get confused and enter the Digital W0rld with one of those, even if you manage to pass any digital gate... you would need something akin to a digignome miracle to make them work.
